Welcome to Northeasterners Inc.
A message from the National President
I begin my presidency of the Northeasterners, Inc. as we launch into the organization’s 85th anniversary. What a momentous occasion. In 1930, Agatha Scott Davis, along with several friends founded the Northeasterners. They gathered a group of educated, talented, creative, socially and politically conscious African- American women who personified the value of friendship. Today, there are over 300 members in 12 chapters that span from the East Coast to the Mid-West and meet locally on a monthly basis and then annually at a convention hosted by a designated Northeasterner chapter.
This Website serves as a road map of the organization. Available is our illustrious history along with a listing of the National Officers, chapter directories, annual convention information and updates of chapter activities; it’s a showcase of The Northeasterners, Inc.
It is my vision, as National President, to continue the congenial spirit of Northeasterners. I am honored to serve at the helm of these phenomenal women, The Northeasterners, Inc.
